USAPL (USA Powerlifting) IPF (International Powerlifting Federation)- The USAPL is the USA arm of the IPF. Assisted powerlifting, single ply equipment only. Drug tested. National and international competitions.  usapowerlifting.com, powerlifting-ipf.com

USPF (US Powerlifting Federation)- Assisted (single ply), sometimes raw competitions are done. Drug tested. Nationwide.  uspf.com


WNPF (World Natural Powerlifting Federation)- Assisted and Raw. Drug tested. Central and eastern USA. Assisted allows two ply equipment. Raw allows knee wraps. Also Strongman and arm curl competitions.  hometown.aol.com/wnpf/

 

WPA (World Powerlifting Association)/APA (American Powerlifting Association)- Assisted, rulebook states specify single ply, other sites state 2 plys allowed. Nationwide (APA) and international (WPA) competitions. Drug tested and non drug tested divisions.  apa-wpa.com


WPC (World Powerlifting Congress) APF (American Powerlifting Federation)- The APF is the USA arm of the WPC.  Assisted, generous limits on equipment (multiple ply suits, groove briefs, open back canvas bench shirts, etc. allowed). Typically no drug testing.  worldpowerliftingcongress.com

WPO (World Powerlifting Organization)- Rules state 2 plies, Nationwide and international. No drug testing. Prize money.  worldpowerlifting.org
