Frames and welds warranted for life. 5 year warranty on guide rods, 2 years on pulleys, one year on cables and sliding bushings/bearings. Any signs of abuse, overloading, improper assembly, or modification voids the warranty. Shipping of returned and repaired items to be paid by the customer. Method of repair/replacement at the discretion of Polak Made LLC. WEIGHT RATING INFORMATION Weight ratings stated are to limit stresses in steel frames to less than 10,000 psi. This is to preserve stiffness, and to have minimum safety factors of 3.5 on yielding (bending) and 5 on ultimate failure (breaking). They also account for dynamic loadings (such as dropping barbells into saddles). Beware of the ridiculous 'weight capacities' often stated by some of the cheaper manufacturers. They are often stated on failure with no safety factor and are based on static conditions.
